The meaning of intelligence only means that it is the ability of an individual to learn and understand. Though all people are intelligent, the level of intelligence vary among individuals and remains as is up to the age of 18. Sir Frances Galton, a British scientist, was the first to investigate the different levels of intelligence among individuals and compared the level of intelligence based on their awards and accomplishments. This research convinced him that intelligence was inherited and led to further studies which involved evaluating individual differences in reaction time and range and specificity of the senses, which have since been shown to correlate with academic success. However, it was a French psychologist, Alfred Binet, who developed a test that can determine the academic success of students when he was asked by the French government to determine which students can survive under formal education. Binet, together with Theodore Simon, debunked the sensory tests developed by Galton, they concluded that testing the practical knowledge, memory, reasoning, vocabulary, and problem solving skills of children are better predictors than sensory tests. Binet and Simon asked their subjects to follow simple commands, define words, differentiate things, repeat numbers, and identify abstract objects. These days, we still use the same kind of intelligence tests. We call these intelligence tests today as Intelligence quotient (IQ) tests which is based on the age of an individual and is defined as 100 times mental age. Intelligence can be defined as mental ability and quickness of mind, while quotient means the result of dividing one quantity by another. However today, intelligence is not solely defined as alertness of the mind, because psychologists now include other forms of intelligences. Bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal, linguistic, logical-mathematical, naturalistic, intrapersonal, spatial, and musical intelligences are now considered as forms of intelligences.

I have always wanted to become a nurse and have travel nurse jobs because I know that I will surely enjoy my job while I travel to different places around the world. Another thing is that you should also review everything before you get the job as a travel nurse so that you will already be aware of the things that you should do before going to different places in the world. When I have nothing to do at home, I would often play Battlefield 3 with my friends because this game is really very addictive. The server administrators are the once controlling the game such as the maps to be played and the weapons to be used and that is why these servers are really very important in this game. The existence of these public and private battlefield 3 servers is the one which makes everything more exciting and fun as we enjoy playing the game. When I first tried playing this game, I was easily addicted to it because the effects and the graphics were really amazing and the storyline was also very exceptional so there is no wonder why this game is so addictive. The role of the server administrators is that they will be the one to decide for ranked or unranked games and with ranked games, the EA master server will record all the progress of a player. As time goes by, there are a lot of changes have been made for this game and the experience of playing this game is still as exciting as before that is why I really love this game so much. One of the most important accomplishments a person can obtain is earning a phlebotomy certification because this can be used in moving up the career ladder and a stepping stone in opening up one’s career horizons especially in the medical field. For other medical related fields because this certification is very easy to acquire and can be taken in any State in the country, several individuals work as phlebotomist to earn income even if they are still finishing school. A standard process is followed by persons who are interested to receive the certification which requires any one to apply for a program that takes about five months to complete and exceeds more than classroom meet ups or lectures. Students will practice extracting blood and along with this they are required for a two week clinical training once in the program, a student will not only join lecture classes but also laboratory workshops. With only one rotation required, the student will be exposed to work in a doctor’s clinic, nursing home, hospital, or a lab for forty hours each week and on this clinical exposure students will be required to perform a certain number of successful blood extractions. With a passing rate or better and after completing all classroom, laboratory, and clinical hours a student will get a certification for the course attended but this does not mean that one is already a certified phlebotomist because a certification test will still be taken. As soon as you pass the phlebotomy certification test, you will be given a card indicating your name and a statement that you are a certified phlebotomist which will be needed when applying for work as part of your credentials. We are a clan of smokers, from my parents’ relatives up to my grandparents and I myself have been smoking on and off since schooling days in primary, I wanted to stop smoking because I am aware that it is not a good habit to live with forever. Due to COPD my aunt had a lung collapse recently and I do not want to see myself in that predicament, on hindsight, I certainly do not want my children to go the same route. I tried my best to stop so tried attending the smokers’ nicotine anonymous meetings in Southern California, I give them all the credit because at first it worked but then just a couple of months my old habit came back. I even tried medication and all other stuff over the years it seemed impossible to quit. Then while surfing online for alternatives I came across a website offering a free electronic cigarette for two weeks, I figured I need to try it before buying it. Then I got was a device and a couple of cartridges, it is like smoking real cigarette with controlled amounts of nicotine and smoke comes out but it had no odor. More girls are choosing to be single until in their mid thirties and are very happy with their status in this decade and you could see that women are more productive in this era compared to before. Back in the eighties, being twenty nine and not yet married is a big shock and people would start looking for the fault that why you are still single and almost turning thirty. The first example that always comes in mind, is that the current city governor is a woman,more women are excelling in whatever fields they chose and there more women that hold important and big roles in companies and the society. But women in this decade are still women and they still want to get married and raise children and have their own family, the only thing that changed is that there is no more pressure on what age should you get married, because if you get passed that age you will never get married at all. Now I am being asked to come up with a wedding invitation wording samples, after recently attending a wedding of my other friend,one of my closest friend, and a cousin of my cousin is getting married, and she is completely clueless on what to do. She is very busy as a doctor, she spends most of her time in the hospital and so does the guy she is going to marry. They do not want to get a wedding coordinator, because they are just starting on their career and would rather spend the money on their house or car, instead of spending it in a one day affair. My inbox is flooded with messages from her about her wedding, so I have a feeling that I will be the wedding planner, coordinator and designer.

When he was still young, my child gets fascinated with mechanical and moving objects that every time we go out and spend family time at the mall we never miss stopping by at the toy store to buy robots of different kinds. He pretends the maker of all that toys we bought from before along with new ones and never missed a day playing and doing a make believe game with all of the toys, even if he is already in grade school he still has all. His interest of robots made him to love Science that when he was a grader he never missed any Science class or activity either inside or outside of his school and every end of the school year this subject gets the highest mark. When we saw this potential in our son, we enrolled him in a learning camp one summer, that provided children with exposure to areas they excel at but making it more fun and easy to learn, thus it lets the child appreciate more the field they like most. All throughout his stay in the camp, he was exposed to several science toys and different games involving different topics about Science and what captivated him was when they were shown different robots that moves. The robot kits, which the camp often provide as part of their activities, assembling robots were provided together with other educational toys such as legos to assemble and make a robot out of it with the help of what they learned during their informal play classes. All the children with their classmates and friends they were asked to make robots out of the legos provided and were requested to present them by the end of the camp to others so that they will also be encourage and start engage in such type of learning. My son during their culmination, showed us his funny yet amazingly assembled Japanese super hero which with all heart he showed it to all and explaining why he build such robot by the end of the summer camp.
